We are pleased to reveal the TFcon 2011 exclusive Stronghold.  Limited to 700 pieces this is a high-quality upgrade kit that contains a transforming head with ball joints and clear blue eyepiece, two photon rifles, one assault cannon, and a backpack. The backpack features many mounting points so the guns can be configured in many ways.  You can preorder this figure via the TFcon 2011 registration page until July 15th.  This set is produced by Head Robots and designed for the Universe Onslaught mold (not included) and cross compatible with Generation 1 Headmasters.  Click the thumbnails for a better look.

Limited to 500 pieces for distribution at conventions around the world in 2011, 50 pieces of the Perfect Effect PE-11 Night Ops Version will be sold at TFcon 2011.  This will be available at onsite registration on a first come, first serve basis starting at the Friday night registration pickup.  Limit of one per person.

TFcon is pleased to welcome back Matt Moylan to the convention this year. He is best known to Transformers fans as the artist behind LilFormers. You can meet him in the TFcon 2011 artist alley all weekend.

TFcon’s expansion to a 2 day convention was made possible through merging with the Canadian 80s Toy Expo on the Sunday of the event.  This was necessary due to many dealers completely selling out of merchandise on the Saturday requiring a dealer room restock if a 2nd day was to be added.  This year is no different with the Sunday bringing us Canada’s largest dealer room for 80s toy related merchandise consisting of dealers selling Super Heroes (Marvel, DC etc), Star Wars (new and vintage), Transformers (vintage and Japanese imports), G.I. Joe (vintage and modern), Masters of the Universe (vintage and classics), Wrestling, and tons of other Action Figures and collectibles.  We will also welcome new guests to the convention on the Sunday.

We are happy to welcome back  Transformers comic book artist Alex Milne to TFcon 2011.  He will be setup in the TFcon artist alley all weekend long signing and sketching for fans.  Alex did the packaging art for our convention exclusive Stronghold this year as well as the art for the comic that will be included in the TFcon 2011 program.

Alex has worked on Transformers Energon #26-29 and 31; G.I. Joe vs. the Transformers: The Art of War #4 and 5; as well as IDW’s Megatron Origin;  the Transformers (2007) Official Movie Adaptation; Spotlight: Arcee; The Reign of Starscream; Transformers: Alliance; Revenge of the Fallen Movie Adaptation issue 3; Tales of the Fallen #5 Ravage, #6 Arcee; The Transformers: Drift; and The Transformers (issues 16-18).

We are very pleased to welcome Transformers voice actor Paul Eiding to TFcon 2011 for the 25th Anniversary of Transformers The Movie and his first ever Canadian convention appearance.

The voice of Generation 1 Perceptor; Mr. Eiding will be taking part in Q&A panel and autograph sessions with the attendees of the Canadian Transformers Collectors Convention.

With the growing popularity of 3rd party Transformers related products TFcon announces the first annual 3rd party product panel for TFcon 2011.  We have invited major 3rd party product manufacturers to contribute to a panel focusing on new images of upcoming and previously announced collector focused toys.  We encourage all 3rd party companies to contact us to be involved in this first ever presentation.

We are very pleased to welcome back former Transformers comic book artist Joe Ng to TFcon 2011. Joe will be signing along side Simon Furman who he worked with on the War Within: The Age of Wrath series.

Joe also worked on Transformers: Generation One #0, the Dreamwave Summer Special, Transformers: Energon #21-26, G.I. Joe vs. the Transformers II #1-2, G.I. Joe vs. the Transformers: The Art of War 1-5 and will be at TFcon 2011 on the Saturday.
