Call for TFcon 2012 Volunteers and Charity Donations

TFcon is still looking for volunteers to help run this summers largest Transformers Collectors Convention, and you can help.  If you are interested in being apart of the show email volunteers@tfcon.ca

We are also still accepting donations for the charity auction July 28th, 2012 for Make-A-Wish Canada.  If you have something to donate please email ian@tfcon.ca  Even if you can not make the event you can donate via this sponsorship link.  Anyone who donates an item valued at $20 or more for the TFcon 2012 Charity Auction will be entered into a draw to win 1 of 3 Exclusive Chevy Aveo Swerve figures. Anyone that has already donated will be automatically entered into the draw.

 

The TFcon 2012 Dealer Room is SOLD OUT

The TFcon 2012 dealer room has sold out all available tables with just under a month until the convention.  This is a new record for Canada’s largest dealer room for Transformers merchandise.  The room will be packed with exhibitors selling Transformers toys from all eras including but not limited to Generation 1, Generation 2, Machine Wars, Beast Wars, Beast Machines, Robots in Disguise, Armada, Energon, Cybertron, Universe, Classics, Animated, Crossovers, Commemorative and Encore Reissues, Alternators and Binaltech, Masterpiece, Titanium, Alternity, Generations, Transformers Prime, plus Movie toys from all 3 films; Transformers, Revenge of the Fallen and Dark of the Moon and all 3rd party companies.

Transformers artist Andrew Griffith to attend TFcon 2012

TFcon is pleased to announce the addition of Andrew Griffith to the 2012 guest list.  Andrew is the artist on IDW’s current Transformers: Robots in Disguise comic book and is one of the fans who was discovered through IDW’s comic cover contest. He will be selling prints and offering commissions to attendees all weekend long.

TFcon is pleased to announce the addition of a Transformers Fan-Made Media Panel this year to our programming.  Hosted by Chris Ho (Vangelus) and Ben Dolle (Peaugh) they will discuss media-making within the Transformers fandom, and how you can do it too!

Transformers artist Alex Milne to attend TFcon 2012

TFcon is pleased to announce the return of Alex Milne to the TFcon guest list.  Alex is the artist on IDW’s current Transformers: More than Meets the Eye comic book, and has also worked on Megatron Origins, the Transformers (2007) Official Movie Adaptation, Spotlight: Arcee, The Reign of Starscream, Transformers: Alliance, Transformers: Drift, various issues of The Transformers and many more.

Transformers voice actor Neil Ross to attend TFcon 2012

We are very pleased to welcome Transformers voice actor Neil Ross to TFcon 2012 for his first ever Canadian convention appearance.

The voice of several characters in the Transformers Generation 1 series including Bonecrusher, Crosshairs, Hook, Pointblank, Sixshot, Slag and Springer; Mr. Ross will be taking part in Q&A panel and autograph sessions with the attendees of the Canadian Transformers Collectors Convention.
