Online booking for the TFcon Toronto 2019 hotel block is now online. You can also call the hotel reservation department direct at 1 800 445 8667 and ask for the TFCON rate to receive the discounted pricing of $110 per room. This is the guaranteed best rate available as per our contract with the hotel. Please support the convention by booking the TFcon rate which shows that the convention is bringing business to the hotel and keeps us able to run TFcon.
The group rate is good for July 8th to July 24th. Please book early as the block will sell out.  The hotel block will close 2 weeks prior to the event. No deposit is required to reserve your room now. You have until up to 72 hours before your reservation to cancel your room if you can’t make the convention.

MAKE-A-WISH CANADA TO RECEIVE $9,069 BOOST THROUGH TFCON CHARITY EVENT
Over 3,500 Fans, Exhibitors and Guests from Around the Globe Converged on Mississauga to Celebrate TFcon.

Toronto, ON. This past Friday, TFcon hosted a charity event in support of Make-A-Wish Canada at the Hilton Mississauga/Meadowvale Hotel and Convention Centre and had raised $9,069 through both live and silent auctions. Funds raised were made through the generous bids of fans that had attended the event, which included a diverse range of Transformers toys, collectables, autographs and memorabilia.

“We are thrilled to support Make-A-Wish Canada and enable the vision and mission of their organization,” said TFcon Founder and General Manager Colin Douglas.

For Douglas and the TFcon team, this was a significant kick-start to the weekend where over 3,500 fans from the around the globe participated in the world’s largest fan-run Transformers event (July 13-15, 2018).

TFcon showcased a myriad of guest celebrities and voice actors including but not limited to David Kaye, Garry Chalk and Hal Rayle who made Transformers a success; circa 1984 and beyond.

“TFcon is a tremendous event, which provides attendees with a profound sense of community and belonging… something we need more of in the World today versus isolationism,” said special guest Hal Rayle.

The show continued to provide a unique fan-centered experience for those who attended through a variety of engaging programs, panels and interactive opportunities. For Yuni Shaw, who flew all the way from Taiwan to experience TFcon said “that these were some of the happiest days of my life.”

“We are truly grateful for all the fans, exhibitors, sponsors, community partners and volunteers that have made this event a success,” said Douglas. “We look forward to providing a great program for years to come.”
